This is what I am up to:
- Learning CSS
- Practicing that CSS
- Training the kitten to behave
A cool new topic: pseudo-class (like "hover" or "focus") and pseudo-element (like "first-line"!)
7/13: I still have more to learn with Flexbox to be fluid, but I'm moving on to JavaScript! Try this:
7/12: Working on FlexBox. It's satisfying! But I want to make the nav bar on the left expand to full screen width only when it's pushed into a column format. Not finding how to do that yet, without doing a media pull.
7/11: Learning about responsive styling (for screen sizes). Have kind of figured out a Nav Bar layout. Figuring out how to create hover- or focus-based changes. Like this!
7/10: Updating ways to center the boxes.
Got a gradient from Josh W. Comeau's site.
Is it Christmas?
maybe
This is mainly an experiment to look at styling larger bodies of text like paragraphs. I'm going to ramble here a bit just to fill space.
The thing I most want to ramble about right now is Sal, my Monster of the Week character. He's a "retired" mechanic for the mob, who now just works at a grocery store and has started hunting monsters with the local weirdos. We're investigating a college chem lab this week.
Playing a character for MotW has been really cool already. I missed running games, but any way of getting to play in this system rocks.
Another update: today we play Session Two! Hope we all survive.
