End of Summer, 2026
Welcome to the end of July and the end of summer.
I have done a lot this summer in some ways.
- Learned more Javascript
- Learned Godot
- Knit some socks
- Used resin for the first time
- Traveled to family reunion
- Got on a dating app
- Made decent pixel art (arguable)
At this point in July, it feels like I've done nothing. And by some people's standards, it's been a lot of nothing. I haven't read much or traveled a lot. But I've spent less time mindlessly scrolling and more time of my own.
The past couple weeks, I've felt motivation drain and have done fewer projects and more scrolling. Only yesterday (while starting to get over a bad cold) did I get back into coding, and made a tiny experiment in a few hours. I've got a couple ideas, very ambitious, that I'd love to learn enough to make happen.
